I’ve been watching you site for at least a year waiting for the right ’74 to show up. I’d been looking mainly for an Omega/Longines dress watch but I’m a big fan of vintage Seiko as well. When I saw this watch pop up on your site–with its unusual movement and in absolutely mint condition–I knew this was the one. Sure, EL-370s can be had on eBay for less, but you found a gem that was worth every penny! And after 43-years of being who knows where, barely being worn, and therefore probably never being serviced, I’m happy to see that it’s running strongly and fairly accurate.

Of course the Pre Bond didn't get that nickname until after Bond wore a SMP300 in 1993, but one thing that you maybe didn't know about this model is the bezel is either steel or 18k gold - only the crown is plated.![]()

We haven't seen reference 3557 from Patek Philippe before, but once we did in the flesh we had to get it! Condition is excellent and as a bonus we have a photocopy of the extract from the Archives - these normally cost CHF500 (around £400) alone. Add in the PP 18k buckle this model has, on the PP strap, and you might feel as we did - gotta have it!![]()

You do not find too many 1990 Grand Seiko models in Europe, and the SBGS003 or 95GS was one of the first models when the range was reintroduced. Accurate to +/- 10 seconds per year!![]()

Made by #Eterna, this #porschedesign #P10 was the top of the range with the automatic movement and stainless steel bracelet. This example also has box and papers, and even the original receipt for €2,380 from 2000. #boxster not included, but we can throw in our BYW key ring (which doubles as a trolley token).![]()
