This slim Omega De Ville Ile De France was a model produced between 1986 and 1992. Model reference MT1960.312.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number printed on the inside of the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1989.
CONDITION
Whilst the dial doesn’t say De Ville on this example, you can cross reference the model on Omega’s own website, and that is where the Ile De France name first appears too. The movement is Omega’s 1430, which was heavily based on the ETA 255 series – both ETA and Omega were owned by swatch by this point. The movement is working perfectly, including the quick set date, and we will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner. The case gold plating has some wear, and the case back has a Dutch engraving to it. The leather strap is new, and could be swapped for a different colour if preferred.
