I’ve been watching you site for at least a year waiting for the right ’74 to show up. I’d been looking mainly for an Omega/Longines dress watch but I’m a big fan of vintage Seiko as well. When I saw this watch pop up on your site–with its unusual movement and in absolutely mint condition–I knew this was the one. Sure, EL-370s can be had on eBay for less, but you found a gem that was worth every penny! And after 43-years of being who knows where, barely being worn, and therefore probably never being serviced, I’m happy to see that it’s running strongly and fairly accurate.

How pretty is the dial on this 1958 Longines? The pattern is called clous de Paris, and the added depth is very attractive. This was a US market watch, so the case is 10k gold filled (not plated) and the movement also saw upgrades - even thought the customer would never see them!![]()

This is the first Thomas Earnshaw watch we have had. While it is nothing special inside the case, there is a lot else to like. The dial is mother of pearl, surrounded by dalmatine jasper for a unique leopard print style finish - only fifty were ever made, and each will be different due to the unique material. And this is number 1 of the fifty made.![]()

This slim dress watch from #milus has a nice Peseux 7001 manual wind movement inside, and is still fitted to the original Milus strap and buckle. Yes it is not a watch that is easy to date, so not perfect for a birth year website, but try and find another!![]()
