I’ve been watching you site for at least a year waiting for the right ’74 to show up. I’d been looking mainly for an Omega/Longines dress watch but I’m a big fan of vintage Seiko as well. When I saw this watch pop up on your site–with its unusual movement and in absolutely mint condition–I knew this was the one. Sure, EL-370s can be had on eBay for less, but you found a gem that was worth every penny! And after 43-years of being who knows where, barely being worn, and therefore probably never being serviced, I’m happy to see that it’s running strongly and fairly accurate.

We have not listed many Tissot watches recently - just because we haven't been able to find many good ones at sensible money. They used to be quite easy to get, but those days seem to have passed. Possibly people caught on to what great value they are? ![]()

So this #Corum #romvlvs designer should get a pay rise! First launched in 1963, in 1976 they stopped enamelling the Roman numerals, which were on the bezel instead of the dial, and hand carved them instead into the 18k gold cases. The slight imperfections that this creates adds enormous charm. This example is from circa 1999, and still has the 18k buckle too. ![]()
