From Zeno’s range dedicated to vintage military watches, this WWW was loosely based on watches like the Smith W10, but the Zeno were never issued.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We have no absolutely accurate way of dating this watch, so just going on the movement production dates we think it was from circa 2000. If you can help narrow this down, please do contact us.
CONDITION
Zeno are not the only brand to make watches that are homages to bigger brands. They have made their original designs too, and we have been fortunate to have had several before bought directly from Zeno themselves. This W10/4045 name is directly from the Smiths, but it is different in many ways. You do not get the fixed lugs like the Smiths, but on the bright side that does mean you can fit a wide variety of straps or bracelets. Inside the all stainless steel case is a ISA 1998 quartz movement, which is all ticking away nicely and we will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner. You may of course want an original W10 watch, which we can help with, but this comes in substantially cheaper than an original Smiths for example. The nylon strap is new, and could be swapped for a different colour or material if preferred.
