This bi metal Longines Admiral ★★★★★ has a fluted bezel like a certain other brand, but the case design and day date complication sets this apart.  Model reference 507 1007.

After 1967 Longines didn’t use consecutive serial numbers, so dating this isn’t 100% accurate, but we believe it was was made circa 1969.  That fits with the random serial number, the styling and the movement production dates.

This is a nice watch.  The champagne dial is all original, but with a little patina.  The bezel is gold plated, and we can see any some wear through the bezel, which is normally a high wear point.  The movement in this Admiral is branded as a Longines 508, but this calibre is based on a Record movement (Longines bought Record in the early sixties).  This seventeen jewel automatic movement is working well.  The case has hooded lugs, so you don’t see any gap between the strap and the case.  We have paired this with a genuine NOS Longines leather strap with Longines buckle to match the signed crown.

This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
