This manual wind men’s Zenith watch has the original and valuable NSA bracelet still with it. Model reference 070-D-111.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
Zenith are difficult to date with total accuracy, but the movement used in this watch was first introduced in 1968, so the watch can not be older than this.
CONDITION
The condition of this watch has ups and downs. The 20 micron gold plated case is in very good condition and a little larger than average too, and the acrylic crystal is perfect, but the crown is not original. The NSA bracelet is good quality and sought after for other models, especially with the signed clasp, but the dial has a slight bend and what looks like water marks too. The manual wind, 17 jewel calibre 2542C Zenith movement is working well and has a excenter cam for fine adjustment on the balance – always a nice touch. The bracelet has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath. Whilst the claps is signed with the correct Zenith markings, the sprung element of the clasp is no longer springy – but everything is secure.
