Early serial number.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

We can date this to circa 1962 from the serial number on the watch back.  The name Poljot first appeared in 1961, and this serial number starts 00

CONDITION

​The case has some marks, as these early USSR watches often do, and it might be missing a second hand – we can not yet find a picture of another one to compare.  We have fitted a new crystal and cleaned the expanding strap in our ultrasonic bath.  Unlike most expanding straps this one is comfortable to wear and not a hair puller.

​SIZE

36.2mm wide including the crown, 10.7mm thick. Takes an 18mm strap.  The bracelet will fit a maximum wrist size of  approximately 200mm
