I’ve been watching you site for at least a year waiting for the right ’74 to show up. I’d been looking mainly for an Omega/Longines dress watch but I’m a big fan of vintage Seiko as well. When I saw this watch pop up on your site–with its unusual movement and in absolutely mint condition–I knew this was the one. Sure, EL-370s can be had on eBay for less, but you found a gem that was worth every penny! And after 43-years of being who knows where, barely being worn, and therefore probably never being serviced, I’m happy to see that it’s running strongly and fairly accurate.

This IWC #Edison has a hardened case, so still looks absolutely fantastic after 54 years. It also has a high end electronic movement, which is always a treat to see that smoooooth second sweep that mechanical watches still can't match.![]()

Rarer than the #Vulcan? This model #7A38 was sold in one year only, alongside the yellow dial vulcan model, but this is the first one we have ever seen in the flesh - and we do like the Seiko 7A series. This is going to make a collectors day, no doubt.![]()

Neither #Certina nor #türler turned 70 in 1969, when this watch was made, so we don't know why this is also marked 70 on the dial. Can you enlighten us?![]()

This Citizen Alarm watch works the same way as a JLC Memovox - the centre disc is to set the alarm time required and then as the hands hit the indicated alarm time the alarm sounds. However the Citizen is VERY loud - as shown in the YT video available via the website.![]()
