An ultra thin c1990 Omega De Ville Ile de France dress watch is an extremely discrete status symbol. Model reference 195.0075.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the inside of the case back movement we can date this watch to being made either in late 1989 or early 1990. At this time the serial number was printed on, and many have lost the number over time, but this one is perfectly legible. The Ile de France model range ran from 1986 to 1991 according to Omega’s own website.
CONDITION
An Ultra thin watch is technically anything with a total case thickness of less than 5mm, but this smashes that at just 3.9mm. To achieve this, Omega made this De Ville model simple – flat glass crystal, no seconds hand, and a slim movement from their group cousins at ETA which Omega labelled their 1378. We will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner. The case and glass are all in good condition, and the dial is very clean. The leather strap is new, and could be swapped for a different colour or material if preferred. The watch is signed on the dial, case and crown.
This watch will be supplied with our branded reusable presentation travel case, a cleaning cloth and our Certificate of Authenticity.
Please see the HD video for more detail. All photos and videos are part of the description and are of the actual watch unless mentioned. We do not photoshop any pictures, and the images are copyright of birthyearwatches.com and should not be used without permission.

From 1st September 2021 we will be planting a tree for every watch we sell, working with the International Tree Foundation (Est 1922) to make this business positive on carbon. By buying anything pre owned you are effectively reusing what already exists, but this takes it further and makes us feel good.
