A thin, ladies Longines La Grande Classique watch with conventional lugs at an attractive price.  Model reference L4.209.2.12.2.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

The La Grande Classique range has been around for a number of years, and they can therefore be difficult to accurately date.  However we have a copy of the 2015 brochure which features this exact model.  The price list from the same year shows this model at €960.

CONDITION

Why do we mention the conventional lugs in the opening sentence?  Well a lot of La Grande Classique watches have a single central lug, which is fine until you try and get a new replacement strap and find your options are limited and far more expensive.   Condition of the case, dial and hands are faultless.  The movement is a Longines quartz calibre based on an ETA design.  We will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner.  The leather strap is the original Longines item, fitted with their signed buckle too.  It is in very good order as shown in the video, but if you would prefer we swap this for a new non Longines leather strap then we can do that.

This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.

Please see the HD video for more detail.  All photos and videos are part of the description and are of the actual watch unless mentioned.  We do not photoshop any pictures, and the images are copyright of birthyearwatches.com and should not be used without permission.

From 1st September 2021 we will be planting a tree for every watch we sell, working with the International Tree Foundation (Est 1922) to make this business positive on carbon.  By buying anything pre owned you are effectively reusing what already exists, but this takes it further and makes us feel good.
