The Tango is a model of Raymond Weil we don’t often get, but couldn’t resist the blue dial. Model reference 5590.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
Without papers or an inscription it is not possible to date Raymond Weil watches very accurately. However we have a 1997 catalogue which features a very similar Tango model, with a reference number just before this one. It would be logical that the 5590 model would supersede the 5560 model shortly after 1997.
CONDITION
Raymond Weil do not use their own movements, but instead they buy them in. The ETA quartz movement in this Tango example is also used in TAG Heuer, Tissot, Hamilton and Certina watches at the very least, so spares will always be easy to get if ever required. The case has small marks, as does the bracelet, but that is because the watch has been used and has not been polished. Everything is working correctly and the watch has passed all tests easily. We will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner. The bracelet is quite long and our sister website, SpareLinks.com, may have extra links if required. The bracelet has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath.
