A very funky ladies asymmetric bangle watch from the Swiss brand Edox, with a nice blue dial.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We can not be 100% sure on the exact date this watch was made, but the movement that is uses was not available until 1965 so it can not be before 1965.
CONDITION
If you want a watch that will stand out but still be made by a respected Swiss brand like Edox, this could be for you. The fixed cuff style bangle is unusual enough, but then to have the case offset, and the dial offset within the case, is exceptional. The edge of the dial has some wear, but this is difficult to spot when the dial is in the case. White hands against the blue dial ensure the watch is highly legible. Inside is a manual wind FEF 6630 seventeen jewel mechanical movement that will never need batteries – ideal for a watch that will likely not be worn daily (although you could!). The most important photos of this are the wrist shots to get the perspective of how this might look on your wrist. The watch is signed on the dial, crown and movement.
