An inexpensive Jean Perret Geneve men’s vintage wristwatch, but with a quality hand winding movement.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

Jean Perret were registered in 1948, but judging on the movement data we think this watch was likely to have been made circa 1965.

CONDITION

The brand Jean Perret is not one we were immediately familiar with, but Peseux is a movement manufacturer we have a lot of respect for.  If you Google them you will find their movements in vintage Breitling and Ulysee Nardin, and modern Stowa and Nomos.  This dress watch has mechanical hand wound calibre 330 in it, and its slim profile suits a dress watch perfectly.  The case is 20 micron gold plated and not showing any signs of wear or damage with the naked eye, but when magnified you can just see some wear on the lugs.  The gold colour dial is clean but does have some marks near 7, which is why this watch is so cheap.  The strap is new, and the lugs are drilled to make strap changing easier.

This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.

Please see the HD video for more detail.  All photos and videos are part of the description and are of the actual watch unless mentioned.  We do not photoshop any pictures, and the images are copyright of birthyearwatches.com and should not be used without permission.
