This special edition Constellation 2000 is rarely found and quite different to the standard model. Model reference 1504.50.00.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the warranty card , which shows the same serial number as on the case back, we can accurately date this watch to being sold in December 2000.
CONDITION
There doesn’t seem to be much information out there on this model – was it made for the Millennium? Or the Sydney Olympics, for which Omega’s parent company Swatch were the official timekeeper (and produced limited edition Swatch watches)? Mechanically it is the same as the steel automatic model but the 2000 Constellation has a unique dial with lumed hour markers, and the bezel has Omega 2000 written around it rather than the standard watch’s roman numerals. The condition of this watch is fantastic, with a clear sapphire crystal, perfect dial, and only light surface marks to the case and bracelet from being very carefully worn. The gold medallion on the clasp is still in place too. The bracelet is quite long and our sister website, SpareLinks.com, may have extra links if required. The bracelet has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath.
