Naturally the Flagship was the top of the Longines range, and the chronograph would not have been cheap. Model reference 7281.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the guarantee paperwork, which has a matching serial number to that on the case back, we can accurately date this watch to being sold in 1995.
CONDITION
This Flagship watch feels solid and well put together. The white dial is crisp, and the bezel shows no signs of wear – it possibly is solid gold but we haven’t been able to confirm this. All the chronograph functions are working perfectly, and with this movement you can quick set the hour hand independently – ideal for frequent travellers. The movement is the Longines 541.2, a 27 jewel quartz movement that is branded Longines but actually an ETA item. These were quite widely used in higher quality watches and we will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner. The bracelet is not full length but quite long and our sister website, SpareLinks.com, may have extra links if required. The bracelet has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath. The leather strap is new, and could be swapped for a different colour if preferred.
This watch will be supplied with the original presentation box, papers and our Certificate of Authenticity.
