HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1991.
CONDITION
With watches that have lots of features (or complications in watch world talk) the biggest complaint is often that the dial is too busy, and it is not easy to read the time. The Omega Seamaster Polaris with this multifunction calibre 1655 is therefore ideal. Most of the time you just see the hands, as most of the time you look at your watch to see the time. The golden hands, infilled with lume, are very easy to see against the black background. But with a turn of the crown you see the time in a digital format, see the seconds ticking away, display the date and the day, see a second time zone, start a stopwatch or even set an alarm. The video shows this in action, and we will set the watch up for your time zone before sending it out. We will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner. The Polaris models have a unique case, inlaid with 18k gold in a process that is still secret. The all steel bracelet has some wear and is unpolished. The bracelet is quite long and our sister website, SpareLinks.com, may have extra links if required. The bracelet has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath.
