Quality quartz pocket watches are quite scarce, but this de Ville has the Omega calibre 1342 high end movement inside. Model reference 191.1753.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1979.
CONDITION
The 1342 movement is quite sort after. some people collect the models, but just as many want to find a good movement to put into their Seamaster wristwatch, which can be worth multiples of this pocket watch. But this is way to nice to break for spares, no matter how nice your Seamaster may be! The condition is excellent and it has probably spent the majority of its life in the original box. The twenty micron gold plating is very good, with just a small chip to the back of the bow, and the box is the perfect stiffness like it were new. The dial is faultless and the original signed crystal is still in place. The time setting via the push button set into the crown is working perfectly, and you can also advance this 13 jewel movement by hours too. We will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner.
This watch will be supplied with the original presentation box, papers and our Certificate of Authenticity.
