This Seiko NOS Automatic bangle watch is one of the most distinctive watches we have ever seen from Seiko. Model reference 2415-0010.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
This watch came from a family jewellers who changed which watch brands they sold in 1975, and we bought the remaining stock from them 50 years later! This is the only watch from that source that we can accurately date, via the serial number on the case back. This was made in January 1975.
CONDITION
This watch is New Old Stock (NOS), and as such has never been sold and has probably only been worn for our photography. There may be small marks from being stored, but otherwise the condition is as good as you are likely to find. With a fixed bangle bracelet big enough to fit most people, it is certainly a different design. Inside the bi metal case is an automatic movement with calendar, which can be quick set. The date apatture is tiny, down at six. The watch is signed on the dial, case and movement.
