A clean, understated vintage Timex with useful day date feature. Fitted with a leather strap.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the dial we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1974.
CONDITION
The dial is very clean, and features a brushed grey dial that almost becomes reflective in some lights. It isn’t easy to capture on camera, so have a look at the video below. The chrome plated case is in good order, but there is a dink at 4. The crown appears original, and the hand winding movement is running well. To set the day you wind the hands backwards, and to set the date you wind them forwards. The current strap is a XL 18mm leather band that is slightly worn. The crystal does have a scratch over the date window but we will try and improve that before sending the watch out,
