This Bulova Accutron, featuring the 2162 electronic tuning fork movement, has a great period feel to it and is a larger size than most vintage watches.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1973.
CONDITION
This very seventies hummer (so called for the distinctive humming noise the tuning fork movement makes) has the two tone dial, The bezel is gold plated, while the case back (which, as it is touching the skin wears more) is rolled gold for a better finish. The case back does have some dints, and the bezel has some scratches near 11. You can easily see the brushed case finish still, leading down to the polished edges, and the watch retains the original crown with the tuning fork logo. The suede effect strap could be changed for a strap of your choosing if required.
