A larger than average ladies 1971 Omega Geneve cocktail watch, with a Breguet numeral dial and manual wind movement. Model reference 511.410.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1971.
CONDITION
With many cocktail watches being around 20mm, the 25mm case of this 1971 Omega Geneve feels more modern and is also easier to read than many cocktail watches. The case is 20 micron gold plated, when most watches were 10 micron, and the plating has stood up well to the test of time. The acrylic crystal is the original, with the Ω symbol in the centre (fitted upside down – which was surprisingly common). The hand wound movement is powered by winding the signed crown, and that movement is the seventeen jewel Omega calibre 620. It’s a nice movement, which was adjusted to two positions, and it is running well. The silver or champagne dial has what are called Breguet numerals painted on, and the black hands provide excellent contrast. The leather strap is new, and could be swapped for a different colour or material if preferred. The watch is signed on the dial, case, movement, crown and crystal.
This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.

From 1st September 2021 we will be planting a tree for every watch we sell, working with the International Tree Foundation (Est 1922) to make this business positive on carbon. By buying anything pre owned you are effectively reusing what already exists, but this takes it further and makes us feel good.
