On a high quality integrated 9k gold bracelet, this ladies Omega cocktail watch is extremely elegant. Model reference 1061.

From the serial number on the movement we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1969. The hallmark shows it was assayed in Birmingham in 1970, so it is unlikely to have been sold until 1970.

The case back is stamped OWC, meaning this was made in Switzerland by Omega before being exported to the UK. The bracelet has been cleaned by hand and has two unusual features. The first is that the centre section has a random pattern of flowers on it, and the second is that the edges are strengthened. That is a useful piece of engineering, as integrated gold bracelet have a habit of bending or fraying at the edges, but not with this extra support. The movement is Omega’s calibre 485, a hand wound 17 jewel engine that is all working well. The dial has some patina but being so small it is not noticeable much. As with all integrated bracelets, please double check the bracelet will fit your wrist as extra links are not available.

This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.

By buying anything pre owned you are effectively reusing what already exists, but this takes it further and makes us feel good.
