A classy vintage watch that isn’t expensive
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We can date this to 1968 from the serial number on the watch dial.
CONDITION
As the photos show the watch has survived 45+ years of wear and tear very well. There is slight fading of the plating near the crown, but no flaking and the corners of the case are all good (normally a weak spot of gold plated cases). The enlarged photos make the wear look a lot worse than in real life. The movement is ticking away as Timex wanted it to, and there is a new quality Darlena calf grain strap fitted.
