This automatic Seiko Weekdater, model number 6619-7001, has just had a cosmetic restoration but the dial is original. Great looking watch!
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in October 1967.
CONDITION
When this watch arrived with us it had a stretch bracelet and a cracked crystal. With those items replaced and the case cleaned it has really come up well. The 6619A seventeen jewel movement is running well, and the push crown for the quick set date is working correctly. The crown on these watches is small and fiddly, but as you can not wind this movement manually you only need to use it to set the time and date. The rest of the time the crown is recessed into the cushion shaped gold plated case. The case does have a few spots of wear through the gold plate. We have fitted a brown leather strap, but we could change this for black leather if you so preferred.
