As simple as you can get, this men’s Omega is everything a dress watch should be (except for the price). Model reference 111.077
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number hallmark on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in 1967. Reference 111.077 was originally part of Omega’s De Ville range, launched in 1962 according to their own website.
CONDITION
The accepted rules for a dress watch are that it should be simple, slim enough to slide effortlessly under a cuff, and be top quality. This watch meets those criteria, but the gold plated case does keep the price down (we do have some Patek Philippe dress watches in 18k, but the price does jump ten fold plus!). The case has some wear between the short lugs, but this is covered by the strap. This watch is all in good condition, and still has the original crystal signed with the Omega symbol Ω in the centre. The movement used is the 17 jewel, manual wind Omega calibre 620 which is running very well. The crown may have been changed at one point, as it is not signed. The leather strap is new, and could be swapped for a different colour if preferred.
