A 1928 Roamer non Magnetic manual wind men’s watch in a size that is still practical to wear today.  Gold filled case.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

We can date this to being made in 1928 as the movement start date and the case manufacturers date overlap only in 1928.

CONDITION

The dial is in great condition – crisp white with no cracks, and lovely blued hands.  For a watch of this age it is a great size.  The gold filled case is showing signed of wear, but it is outside of it’s ten year guarantee by over 70 years!  We have replaced the crystal as the original had yellowed over time.  We have also had a new leather strap that fits the fixed lugs.  Running well, but as with any watch of this period please do bear in mind that the balance does not have any shock protection – that had not been invented when this watch was made.  The crown looks to be a replacement, and it doesn’t sit flush to the case.
