This Raymond Weil Tango 300 Chronograph, model number 8560 – ST2 – 20001, is a currently model and has an RRP of £1,095. This watch is less than half of that.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
While we have the box and papers, we do not have the guarantee card that would have given us the date of purchase. The range was only launched in October 2016, so this watch can not pre date that.
CONDITION
The watch is barely worn, and it is difficult to fault the condition. We have three spare links to extend the bracelet to the full size, but the watch is photographed without these fitted. The watch is also water proof to 300m, so we have not removed the case back to photograph the movement. To ensure the case is water tight the pushers have screw down protection, just like the Rolex Daytona. Likewise the signed crown screws down tight. The bezel is fixed and there is no lume on the seconds hand, so this watch wouldn’t meet the requirements for serious diving, but is otherwise fine for most activities. The quality is very good, and we would compare it to the modern Longines range quite happily. This is a large watch, especially for those of us that are used to wearing vintage watches.
