One of the last Avia watches before Fossil group took over, this is a nicely engineered piece.  300m/1000ft water resistance, screw down crown, solid stainless steel construction and unidirectional bezel.

No accurate records are available to be perfectly certain on the date.  However, from checking adverts for the Polar Star series they seemed to be from the late nineties/early 2000’s.  Fossil group bought Avia in 2001 and production seemed to stop shortly after.

This is a solid watch in good condition.  The case has just superficial light scratches , and the screw down crown at 4 works well.  The case styling is very reminiscent of Seiko divers watches.  The bezel has 60 clicks and is very positive.  The stainless bracelet has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath and has the flip lock on the clasp.  The lume on the dial is not as bright as the hands, which still glow strongly.  The movement uses a large CR2012 cell, which should last ten years, and features a quick set date function.

This watch will be supplied with our Certificate of Authenticity.
