The Colt was, and remains, a popular model without having to spend thousands on a Breitling watch. Model reference A57035.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
According to the Breitling unofficial source website, this reference was available from 1995 to 2001. A year 2000 brochure we have shows the numbers are slightly italic by then, so this must be an earlier model.
CONDITION
You don’t find many 300M divers rated watches at this price point, especially when the case isn’t huge and thick. But the Breitling Colt manages this, and does it well. The case is all in good order, and the screw down signed crown is working correctly. The bezel is stiff but does turn, and has the vast majority of the black infill paint still in place. The glass does have a few scratches, with the worst being at 4. The dial is lovely, with the creamy lume that Tritium of this era goes. The white hands are easy to read, but the minute hand does have a little dirt on it. The movement is a Swiss ETA quartz with quick set date, and we will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner. The blue leather strap is new, and could be swapped for a different colour or material if preferred. The watch is signed on the dial, case and crown.
