A possibly unique chance to buy an unworn ladies Eberhard Royal Quartz ladies watch. Model reference 17475-5

The sub brand Royal Quartz was registered by Eberhard &Co in 1977, so this watch must post date that. The price tag is in Lira, as Italy is an important market for Eberhard watches, so it must be before 1999. But the real clue is the movement, which is made by ESA. ESA merged into ETA in 1984, so we think this watch was made circa 1983.

Eberhard &Co. are a fine Swiss brand with a history that stretches back to 1887. They are not, and never have been, a cheap watch – a check of the 231,000 Lira price tag shows this would have cost about £110 in 1983, when a good ladies Seiko was £50 and a Timex £12. This example has never been worn before, as evidenced by the pristine condition. The case back, which has the same model number as the hangtag, still has the protective sticker in place. The strap is perfect, and there is nothing negative to report on the condition of this watch at all. The ESA 950.001 quartz movement has six jewels and all is working well. We will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner.

This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
