This Selectron Permadate watch has a fully month to view calendar feature dominating the blue dial, and an automatic movement.

While we don’t know much about Selectron, we did have a Caravelle watch many years ago with this same distinctive movement, and that was from 1974.  There is no reason to think this Permadate watch isn’t also from circa 1974.

The condition of this watch is superb, with just light storage marks.  There is even some of the original blue protective film on the caseback.   Inside the stainless steel case is an AS 2086 automatic movement with 25 jewels, and this unique (as far as we are aware) ability to show the entire calendar month on the dial.  It does this by having 7 different options for days of the week, so you just align the day of the week to the date and the whole month is on show.  This is manually adjusted via a quickset on the crown at the end of each month,  The dial is a nice faded blue, and the leather strap is new.  We could only find one other example of a Selectron Permadate watch for sale currently, and we have priced our watch significantly cheaper.

This watch will be supplied with our branded presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
