A rare watch with a great olive green dial, this Zeno II divers style vintage watch is going to be impossible to replace.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

Felix Huber took over Zeno Watch Basel in 1966, and we bought this Zeno II watch directly from him.  He said it was about 1970, which fits the movement production dates, so who are we to disagree with the owner of the company!

CONDITION

Buying New Old Stock (NOS) watches directly from the owner of the company is not only a privilege, but also incredibly rare to get the opportunity.  This way we could talk about the design, and Mr Huber confirmed this watch would have come with this Tropic 16mm strap as new (even though the lugs are 17mm).  Tropic Sport divers straps are collectible in their own right, so we were not going to separate the slightly undersized strap from the watch.  The dial on this is stunning – light olive green in the centre and fading to a darker green on the edge to provide contrast to the hour numbers.  The hands and hour plots all have tritium lume, as shown in the video (except for where 3 would be of course.)  The movement is a 17 jewel FHF 96.4, which is running sweetly and has a semi quick set date by turning the hands from midnight-9pm-midnight.  The bezel appears to be made from aluminium, and doesn’t click and is bi directional.  The size is small for a divers watch today, but could be worn by anyone.

This watch will be supplied with our Certificate of Authenticity.
