CONDITION

Ingersoll have been making watches since 1892, and initially were famous for their dollar watch.  This is a higher grade than those early watches, and features a Swiss jeweled lever manual wind movement, a Ronda 1033 calibre with 17 jewels.  The watch appears to be completely unworn – the strap has no sign of wear at all, and has the correct period buckle fitted (these were sewn in so can not be retrofitted to a newer strap easily).  The strap is also very small, and doesn’t fit many wrists these days, so we will include a new leather strap with this watch.  The case back has a blue tinge where the caseback sticker has been – this would likely come off with a bit of nail varnish remover, but it is part of the watches history so we have left it on.  The textured dial is perfect, as are the painted hands.  Even the cardboard box is in great shape, with no ripped corners.  We’ve said this before, but find another one!

This watch will be supplied with the original presentation box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
