This Accurist Shockmaster has a manual wind MST 96-4 movement with calendar and is in very nice order with a beautifully clean dial.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the production dates of the movement, combined with the styling, we estimate this watch was made circa 1970.
CONDITION
The dial on this watch is outstandingly clean, and this watch summerises why we like inexpensive vintage watches so much. Style and design that are timeless, a mechanical movement and for less than most people think. The gold plated case has held up well, and we have fitted a new Mapplin and Webb leather strap. We have also polished the acrylic crystal. This watch does have a calendar complication that can be quick set by winding the watch between 8pm and midnight, and then back to 8pm to repeat until the right date is showing.
