A. Schild, better known as AS, usually only make movements for other brands to use so to find a complete watch is very rare.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
It is probable that A. Schild cased up there latest movement to show it off at a trade fair such as Basel. As they launched the 2066 movement in 1969, we think this watch may date from the same year.
CONDITION
This watch is fully working, and looks to have only been worn a few times. The case is all stainless steel, in a style that suits the times, and the two tone blue dial is excellent. Of course the movement is working correctly, and that includes the day and date quickset that is shown in the undated instructions. The day wheel is in German and French. The leather strap looks to be the original, but this could be swapped for a new one if preferred.
This watch will be supplied with the original presentation box, instruction papers and our Certificate of Authenticity.
Please see the HD video for more detail. All photos and videos are part of the description and are of the actual watch unless mentioned. We do not photoshop any pictures, and the images are copyright of birthyearwatches.com and should not be used without permission.

From 1st September 2021 we will be planting a tree for every watch we sell, working with the International Tree Foundation (Est 1922) to make this business positive on carbon. By buying anything pre owned you are effectively reusing what already exists, but this takes it further and makes us feel good.
