HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

We can date this to circa 1960 from the later FHF57 watch movement

CONDITION

​The gold plate has worn off almost completely, which has left a nice brass finish.  It may not be what the designer first thought of, but it works! Little is known about Exactus as a company, but this is a nicely put together watch and unusual to see things like a screw on back and claims to be waterproof (do not try this now!).  The movement is running sweetly and we have fitted a new cordette strap that will fit wrists up to 175mm.
