HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the supplied paperwork, which matches the serial number of the watch, we can show that this watch was sold in 2024.
CONDITION
It is not often we offer a watch that is still available new for $550 plus import duties, but this interested us and we are able to undercut that price too on a watch that look like new – the case back sticker is still in place and the strap looks very clean. This is the first watch we have had form Him, and impressions are good. The dial detail is excellent for this price bracket. The case is brushed 316L stainless steel, with a polished bezel. Some microbrands don’t focus on the small things, like using sapphire crystal, signing the crown and strap but again Haim have done well here, ticking all boxes. The movement is Seiko’s VK64 mechaquartz, so the chronograph is mechanical while timekeeping is battery powered. We will fit a fresh battery for the new owner. The outer cardboard box is a little basic, but inside is a travel case than could come in handy and a Haim branded cleaning cloth that is still in the packaging. And, while this is subjective, this is a very nice looking piece that you will probably never see another one on anyone else’s wrist.
