HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We bought this watch new from a Tissot authorised dealer in February 2020. It has been worn just a handful of times.
CONDITION
In a World where so many new watches are quite bland, it was refreshing to see Tissot launch something that looks straight out of the Art Deco period. We have admired the design of this watch from afar, but being a vintage watch website we left it at that. The the model was stopped by Tissot and something strange happened – used prices started to go up. The balance between supply and demand had shifted, so when we saw this in our local high street jewellers we snapped it up. It isn’t great business sense, but we wanted the watch!
Condition of this banana is perfect, still with the protective sticker on the back. The curved case does fit nicely around the wrist, and if anyone is thinking a 27mm case is too small then they will be wrong – if you calculate the area of this watch it is a little more than a 41mm round watch. This is a highly photogenic watch, and sure to invite comments. Inside is a simple quartz movement, but this is a great design piece and not expensive for a Swiss watch either.
