HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
We bought this watch new as a last of the line deal in June 2020.
CONDITION
This Eterna Adventic was launched at BaselWorld in 2015, and has a list RRP of £3,320 ($4,000). The previous model was reviewed here by ABlogtoWatch, and that was a scarcely believable $11,300 in steel or $28,630 in 18k gold, so this model is a bit better priced. It was also better styled in most eyes, and there is an period review here of the model we have. It is a good looking piece, and with the in house 29 jewel automatic movement and GMT subdial it presents very well. The history is behind Eterna too, as they have designed some features in watches that we take for granted now. One such example is the five ball bearings helping the full size rotor spin – this went on to become Eterna’s logo, and they have very smarlty put the ball bearings into the crown too (purely for decoration, but it does look good!) This watch is unworn except for photography, and as such s perfect. We have not removed the factory blue protective tape from the clasp.
This watch will be supplied with the original presentation box, papers, hangtag, Eterna polishing cloth and our Certificate of Authenticity.
