HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the supplied paperwork, which matches the serial number of the watch, we can show that this watch was sold in 2017. Although this model is no longer available new, you can read about it on Omega’s own website here.
CONDITION
This is not our usual stock, but once we saw the dial we had to have it! There are plenty of other good things too, but let’s start with that dial. Each lozenge has lines on it that reflects the light different every single time you look at the watch. Complimented with 18k red gold hands and hour markers it is stunning! We have taken a photograph taken with a 43x microscope to show the close up detail, but the video is likely to give you the best view of how it works in light. The overall condition of this watch is fantastic, with just the lightest of marks. The clasp and the case back still has some of the protective stickers in place, an indicator that this watch has hardly been worn. The movement is the calibre 8500, a twin barrel automatic with a 60 hour power reserve and free sprung balance, and it also utilises the George Daniel’s developed Co-Axial escapement for longer service intervals and better timekeeping. The downside is the wooden box – all original but it weighs 2.5kg and will require storage space. The bracelet is quite long and our sister website, SpareLinks.com, may have extra links if required, although one extra link is included. The watch is signed on the dial, case, movement, crown and clasp.
This watch will be supplied with the original inner and outer presentation boxes, warranty and pictogram cards, instruction book, one spare link and our Certificate of Authenticity.
This watch has been checked against the Watch Register and has not been reported as lost, stolen or implicated in fraud, and a copy of that certificate will also be included.
