HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the date stamp in the inside of the case back we know this watch is no older than June 2017. We have had a 126.4 model before and it was from 2017 too.
CONDITION
Gucci watches have always been well specified, and in 2021 they have gone a stage further and designed their own movement, evelvating the brand into a ‘proper’ manufacturer. This 126.4 model doesn’t use the new movement of course, so let’s concentrate on what it does have. Sapphire crystal and 9 row intricate bracelet, as well as an ETA quartz movement with quick set day and date. Overall condition is good, but there is a scratch near 4 on the bezel that has gone through the plating. The bracelet is a good size, with signed butterfly clasp. The dial is excellent, with a quilted pattern to the centre, and the lumed hands provide strong contrast to make it easy to read at all times. We will install a brand new battery before sending the watch out to the new owner.
This watch will be supplied with the original presentation box, papers and our Certificate of Authenticity. The box is a little tatty.
