HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the supplied paperwork that is stamped on the inside of the front cover we can accurately date this watch to being sold in December 2017. There is also a date stamp inside the caseback of February 2017.
CONDITION
Some people dismiss Gucci as ‘just fashion watches’, but they have probably not handled one. The cases are stainless steel, and the glass sapphire. The bracelet is solid links, including the end links, and the bracelet also comes with a good butterfly clasp too. Inside the press on case back is an ETA F06 111 quartz movement, which is also found in watches from Certina, Tag Heuer and Tissot. These quality materials help justify the new price of £820 for the nearest new model, which makes this used watch look great value.
The watch has been worn so there will be light scuffs and scratches on the case and bracelet, the worst being on the bottom left lug which looks worse in the photo than in real life. The bracelet has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath, and we have three spare links too. The press on case back (and you do need a press to clip this in correctly) shows the model number 126.4. The case has been cleaned and the battery will be replaced before sending this out to you. The dial is very interesting, with lots happening subtly all the time.
This watch will be supplied with the original presentation box (missing the cushion), papers and our Certificate of Authenticity.
