HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
This is new, with a receipt dated 22/10/2016. Complete with box, papers and hangtag.
CONDITION
This is a new watch, so this is more of a review than a condition appraisal.
The styling is definitely 1940’s flieger style, but brought up to date. The case, pushers, crown and pump pushers are all in a sandblasted matt finish. The onion style crown is branded, as is the deployment clasp, the leather strap and the button on the strap below 6. The case back is nicely finished too. The crystal is a sapphire affair, so very strong and scratch resistant (but can make photography difficult!). The oversized sub dials are a nice visual touch.
Unlike some high street stores, these are photos of the actual watch and not some horrible photoshopped effort! If you find the same watch cheaper then please let us know, as we believe this is the cheapest available in the UK right now.
