This 2001 Eterna, made during the time that Porsche owned Eterna, was a long service award for thirty years of service.

HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the long service engraving on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being presented in 2001 for thirty years hard work.

CONDITION

This watch is in very nice condition, but it is the quality that shines through.  The small but perfectly formed teardrop hour markers, together with the Breguet style 12, are a particular delight.  As you would hope for with an Eterna watch, an ETA movement is used (ETA began as part of Eterna).  This movement is a seven jewel quartz one, with quick set date.  A quick check of retailers websites finds the new Eterna watches starting at £495, so this one represents great value.  Fitted with a lightly used Hirsch leather strap and buckle.
