A small, elegant Rotary ladies cocktail watch with 9k gold case and bracelet.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the Birmingham hallmark on the bracelet clasp we can accurately date this watch to being assayed in 2000. The papers with this watch are blank, but also have the published date of 2000 on them.
CONDITION
The glass has a couple of scratches, but this watch is so small that any marks or scratches are difficult to see with the naked eye. This is a simple, two hand watch design to make the most of the small case size and still make it clear to read. Powered by a set and forget Ronda 7 jewel quartz movement, this is more a watch to be worn as functional jewellery than for a technical collector. We will fit a new battery to the watch before sending it out. The really good news is that the bracelet is long, and in gold bracelets that is definitely a good thing. If the bracelet is too long it can be easily cut down, and the spare link or links would more than likely pay for the goldsmiths time. If the bracelet was too short you would have to pay the goldsmith for his time and the gold.
This watch will be supplied with the original presentation box, blank papers and our Certificate of Authenticity.
