HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the supplied paperwork we can accurately date this watch to being sold in April 2000.
CONDITION
We are fans of Eterna watches, and have been looking for a Galaxis for some time. The design, recently reintroduced into the Eterna range, features these tough blue sapphire glass inserts in the bezel that sometimes appear black, but then a shock of cobalt blue flashes across them depending on the angle to the light. This example ticked every box for us, having the original boxes, paperwork and spare links to the bracelet.
None of the blue inserts are damaged, and neither is the main crystal (also scratch resistant Sapphire glass). The solid stainless steel bracelet only shows light scuffs, and secures nicely. The bracelet will be cleaned in our ultrasonic bath before being sent out, and the battery will also be replaced in the quartz movement – ETA of course (ETA movements were founded by ETernA.). The crown is the original, with the five ball bearing logo evident. The drilled lugs make changing the bracelet for a strap very easy. The case is very slim, meaning the watch slips under shirt cuffs easily and is very comfortable to wear.
