HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?

From the matching paperwork we can accurately date this watch to being sold in September 1999.

CONDITION

Everyone who wants a Breitling want the chronograph, and this was one of the last models they made at a sensible size before they got too large (in our opinion!).  The specification is impressive – A chronometer rated 38 jewel movement running at 28,800 bph, with hacking seconds, quickset date, auto winding and a flyback chronograph (this feature is explained in the video).  The bezel has 18k gold markers for the quarters, and the only negative is the plating on the crown is worn.  The watch is keeping great time and running sweetly.  Something Breitling do better than any other watch manufacturer is the anti reflective coating on the sapphire crystal.  Sometimes it is so clear you have to touch the glass just to make sure it hasn’t fallen out!  This is difficult to explain , but great to see.  The bracelet shows signs of being worn, as it has not been polished, but it is a good length and has a spare link to fit larger wrists.

This watch will be supplied with the original bakelite presentation box, the outer cardboard box, the warranty card, the COSC certificate and some other papers, and our Certificate of Authenticity.

Please see the HD video for more detail.
