This SQ100 Seiko, model number 7N43-8001, was originally presented by Canon (UK) Ltd either as a gift or a prize. Stainless steel case.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in July 1988.
CONDITION
The reason that many people collect Seiko watches is a mix of the affordability and the quality. Many manufacturers would, and did, use chromed base metals for their cases. But Seiko used stainless steel for the case, bezel and case back. The movement is all working well, with the quick set day and date. We have fitted a new battery and new rear case back seal. There is a light scratch down the hardlex crystal, but not enough to warrant changing, and you will notice the non personalised case back engraving from Canon (UK) Ltd that only adds to the watches story. The stainless steel bracelet is the full length and has been cleaned in our ultrasonic bath, so this watch is ready to wear.
This watch will be supplied with our Certificate of Authenticity.
