These V145-0C40 Pulsar 200m rated titanium watches don’t come for sale very often, and are a serious divers watch.
HOW DO WE DATE THIS WATCH?
From the serial number on the case back we can accurately date this watch to being made in January 1998. The watch does come with the Pulsar box and the instructions for this V145 movement can be download here.
CONDITION
Titanium is a tough material, yet extremely light. This makes it difficult to manufacture, but comfortable to wear. This is an ideal watch to wear if you like the style or functionality of divers watches, but not the weight. Not that this is not a serious piece of kit – you have a unidirectional, 120 click bezel, which is extra high to allow you to turn it while wearing divers gloves. You have a screw down crown and case back, low battery indicator, strong lume (including the bezel pip and the second hand) and all of these are required to meet the divers watch standards ISO 6425. The dial is particularly nice, with big ‘pac man’ lume plots. The bezel insert does have a few marks, and we have fitted a new rubber strap that will need to be cut down to suit your wrist – at the moment it is massive! It is an easy thing to do, and we can do it for you if you prefer. The photos are on a water resistant conventional strap, which you can specify instead when you place your order.
This watch will be supplied with a Pulsar box and our Certificate of Authenticity.
